Day after session – Marianna Jamadi

Nov 5 , 2012

When I received this beautiful day after session in in my inbox I immediately fell in love with Marianna Jamadi! There is something so dreamy and so romantic about all of her photos. Here are a few words from Marianna….”This day after shoot celebrates the love between my dear friend Laura and her husband Kurtis. I first met Laura back in college and we have supported each other through the years. I traveled back to California for her wedding this October and wanted to give her the gift of beautiful photos. Still in full wedding bliss, Laura and Kurtis met me in Malibu the day after the celebration in order to capture the intimacy of this momentous occasion without the day-of stress. I loved this location because the large, steady rocks reminded me of the weight of love, the prolific nature and beauty of it.”

Carina & João Married – Piteira Photography

Aug 10 , 2012

I stumbled upon this gorgeous little wedding on one of my favorite blogs 100 Layer Cake and I knew I had to repost it for all my dolls. Prepare to be amazed by the amazingness that is the Palácio de Conde D’Óbidos. It is a visually stunning library located in Portugal. Carina & Joao explain why they chose this historic venue as the place they would share their vows. “A book as an object and as a means of transport of culture and wisdom. We wanted our theme to be an extension of the venue and of ourselves. Something classic, with a vintage look in order to mix with some modern elements, and this was the perfect place to do it.” The wedding was shot by the amazing duo of Piteira Photography. Prepare to be swooned away by this one!
