Personal | Happy Persian New Year’s |
New-Years Hey my loves, so I know you’re probably thinking what the eff moni, the new year was on January 1 and I will say yes doll but this is Persian new years! Persian new years aka Nowruz is the traditional Iranian festival of spring which starts at the exact moment of the vernal equinox, commencing the start of the spring. It is considered as the start of the New Year among Iranians. The name comes from Avestan meaning “new day/daylight”. Noruz is celebrated March 20/21 each year, at the time the sun enters Aries. Normally I go all out in my house but this year has been super busy and I just didn’t have time for any of it but I am celebrating in my heart and wishing everyone an amazing Persian new year! And what better way to do that than with a little new year inspiration!
